Congratulations to the new PTA Board of Directors, elected at its May 2010 meeting. Serving the students, teachers and parents of Jessup Elementary School for the 2010-2011 school year are:

Attention All Volunteers!
If you volunteer at Jessup Elementary School in any capacity, field trip chaperones, fundraisers, classroom help, book fair, FluMist or medical screenings, etc., please keep track of the hours you volunteer. The school uses this information for Anne Arundel County reporting requirements.

August 10 - Jessup Playground Improvement with Lowe's - 8:00 a.m., no children on the site, please.

August 23 - Schools open for grades 1-5 and grades 6 and 9 only

August 24 - Schools open for students in grades 1 through 12

August 23-25 - Conferences for 1/2 day Pre-K and ECI students

August 23-24 - Conferences only for Kindergarten and Full-day Pre-K students

August 25-27 - Staggered entrance for Kindergarten and Full-day Pre-K

August 26 - First day of school for ECI Students

August 26, 27, & 30 - Staggered entrance for 1/2 day Pre-K students

August 30 - First day for all Kindergarten and Full-day Pre-K students

August 31 - First day for all 1/2 day Pre-K students

September 2 - Bowie Baysox Game - 7:00 p.m. Tickets - $4.00

September 6 - Labor Day - All schools and offices closed

September 7 - Back to School Night - 6:30 p.m.

September 9 - Rosh Hashanah - All schools and offices closed

September 14 - Primary Election Day - All schools and offices closed.

September 14 - Greene Turtle Fundraiser - ALL DAY!
