Paper Recycling at Jessup Elementary - Make Every Page Count!

Jessup Elementary is pleased to announce paper recycling at Jessup Elementary.  Not only are we helping the environment by recycling paper, but also, Jessup Elementary will earn money for all recycled paper!  Why should we recycle?

  • It's easy!  Paper can be dropped off in the green and yellow paper bin at our school 24 hours a day/7 days a week or your child can bring it to school from home.

  • Jessup Elementary will earn money to improve our technology.

  • We are diverting paper from local landfills.

  • Students are learning the value of helping the environment.

We CAN recycle:  newspapers, magazines, telephone books, shopping catalogs, office and school papers, and mail.  We CANNOT accept:  plastic, glass, metal, trash or cardboard.

Parents and students, if you are looking for a good way to stay in touch with your teachers, check out SchoolNotes.com.  This free community service allows parents, teachers, and students to access school information from home, work, school or anywhere the internet is available.  Every Jessup Elementary School teacher has their own individual page on this site to communicate lessons, homework, important dates, and many other items important to your student.  To reach any Jessup Elementary page, just enter zip code 20794 on the main page.  Check it out!
